Let the Moments Stay
Over the past few years, life has been dictated entirely by work. Mornings began the moment I rushed out the door, and nights ended only after darkness had fallen. Sunrises slipped away unnoticed, and sunsets vanished before I could pause to see them. Time reduced itself to the numbers glowing on a phone screen, or to an endless chain of deadlines—deadlines that were never truly mine, but always meant for someone else.
This painting is about reclaiming a moment. It is about pausing long enough to notice the world—the shifting sky, the fading glow of dusk, the quiet rhythm of a flower in bloom. In holding onto this scene, I am also holding onto a fleeting instant for myself. It becomes both a record and a reminder: that time is not only to be measured or spent, but also to be lived.
